When autism comes to mind You get a strange look It's nothing you can hide It catches you like a hook When autism comes to mind Some people look fine But others are fighting To speak, to draw a simple line Possibly sensitive to the lighting When autism comes to mind You may think of bullying Judging others for no reason Just try to keep studying Almost like the pre-season Preparing for the worst But what those people said hurts When autism comes to mind I think of those things they think isn't possible But if you put your mind to it, it is It is plausible It's not hard to miss When autism comes to mind You may think no one has it No one can have that Well, I can tell you this Because some people do And it's true When autism comes to mind You may look at someone weird Like they're not alright But while they're in the darkness There is light When autism comes to mind In this room, no one looks like they have it Well, for one last time, you may want to sit Cause you're looking at one I have autism And I'm proud of who I am When autism comes to mind You may be bad mouthing me behind my back And saying I don't fit But just know I don't give a s...
